FHRD launches national HR survey ahead of Malta annual conference

The Malta Foundation for Human Resource Development (FHRD) has launched the Malta HR Annual Report 2026 – Inaugural Edition, a new national initiative aimed at capturing the key trends, challenges and priorities shaping the future of work and HR in Malta.

At the heart of the initiative is a nationwide survey targeting HR professionals and business leaders across Malta. The survey, which takes approximately five minutes to complete, will gather valuable insights into current workplace practices, emerging workforce trends, leadership challenges, employee well-being, digital transformation and the evolving strategic role of HR.

The findings will form the basis of the Malta HR Annual Report 2026 and will also help shape discussions at the upcoming Malta Annual HR Conference & Expo 2026, taking place on October 23 at the Hilton Malta Conference Centre.

Organised annually by FHRD, the conference is recognised as Malta’s leading event dedicated to human resources, training and business management.

This year’s theme, ‘HR Lead: Powering Strategy Through People’, reflects the growing role of HR as a strategic business driver in an era defined by rapid technological advancement, shifting employee expectations and organisational transformation.

The conference programme will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops and case studies led by local and international experts. Topics will include the strategic use of people data, AI and workplace technology, leadership and culture, employee well-being, organisational agility and building inclusive, high-performance workplaces.

FHRD encourages HR practitioners, business leaders and professionals across industries to participate in the survey to ensure the report and conference discussions accurately reflect the realities and priorities of Malta’s evolving workplace landscape.

Survey participants are assured that all responses will remain fully anonymous.
