BNF Bank’s chief banking officer is leaving the company just three months into his appointment.
Stewart Carvil informed the bank that he will be leaving the role as of Wednesday, May 27, the bank said in a company announcement on Friday evening.
Carvil was appointed to the C-Suite role in February. At the time, BNF Bank highlighted his decades of experience in the banking sector, which included roles at Qatar National Bank and Lloyds Banking Group.
No further information was provided about the decision.
The bank’s chief legal and compliance officer, Jean Noel Cutajar, is also exiting BNF, the company said on Friday. Cutajar was appointed to the role in 2022 after spending a year heading BNF’s legal department. He will continue to serve in the role until July 31.
BNF said it will be implementing interim management arrangements until suitable replacements for both Carvil and Cutajar are found.
BNF Bank offered Cutajar its sincere gratitude and thanked Carvil for his contribution. The bank wished both men well in their future roles.
