APS Bank is supporting Il-Każin x Times of Malta, a live online debating programme hosted by Jon Mallia and Mark Laurence Zammit, that encourages open discussion on current affairs and issues of public interest.

First launched in 2024, Il-Każin x Times of Malta is now in its third season, with APS Bank continuing its support of the initiative.
This season features 10 online episodes and is complemented by around 20 workshops, creating further opportunities for participants to explore current affairs, exchange ideas and strengthen their debating skills.
Through a combination of online discussions and in-person sessions, Il-Każin x Times of Malta promotes informed dialogue, critical thinking and the respectful exchange of ideas.
The workshops offer practical guidance on effective participation in debates, asking critical questions, and understanding the mindset and techniques of a skilled debater.

Jeremy Vassallo, CSR Manager at APS Bank, said: “Supporting lifelong learning is a key focus of our CSR Programme. Through Il-Każin, participants have opportunities to develop critical thinking, communication skills and engage constructively with the issues shaping our society.”
Mallia added: “Support for initiatives like Il-Każin x Times of Malta should never be taken for granted. It takes an organisation that genuinely believes in the value of open dialogue and community engagement to support projects that encourage thoughtful discussion and respectful debate. APS Bank’s continued backing reflects its commitment to strengthening communities by creating spaces where meaningful conversations can take place.”
