Kirsty Muscat has secured the prestigious Global Prize Winner award, after placing first globally in the Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA) Examination sitting during the December 2024 Session of the ACCA examination scheme.
Muscat was presented with the award by Mark Anthony Bugeja and Maria Cauchi Delia, president and CEO of the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA), alongside Andreia Stanciu, Head of ACCA Southern Europe, and Chryso Iasonos, Business Development Manager at ACCA.
Upon receiving the award, Muscat expressed her gratitude, stating: “I am truly honoured to have achieved an ACCA Global Prize, which is a testament to the power of dedication and hard work. Although the journey can be challenging, it is definitely possible through consistent practice and surrounding yourself with the right support system. The ACCA qualification opens doors to a wide range of opportunities, offering a clear pathway to a successful career.”
The MIA President and CEO praised Muscat’s outstanding achievement, describing her success as a source of inspiration for aspiring accountants in Malta and a testament to the high calibre of talent within the local profession.
