Malta Sotheby’s International Realty recently held its highly anticipated annual team assembly at the iconic Palazzo Parisio, celebrating an extraordinary year of achievements in 2024 and setting the course for an even more successful 2025. The prestigious event focused on the brand’s ongoing commitment to excellence, innovation, and their continued success for the year ahead.

Joint owner and Director Michael J. Zammit opened the assembly with an inspiring address. 2024 was one of the most successful years in the company’s history, marked by exponential growth in sales performance. “Our record-breaking performance in 2024 is a testament to the strength of our brand and the expertise of our team,” says Zammit.

Appointed to the position of Head of Sales and Letting in 2024, Benji Psaila presented a detailed breakdown of the company’s remarkable sales figures. The total value of concluded sales increased by 129%, with sales commission rising by 128.9%. The total value of Promise of Sale contracts grew by 120%, while the number of signed Promise of Sale contracts increased by 104%. Residential rental contracts showed a growth of 43.3% whilst residential rental commissions climbed by 57%.

Properties located in Special Designated areas – also known as Lifestyle Developments – remain a popular choice for foreign buyers with prices starting from €540,000 and ranging all the way to €10 Million +.

Letting Associate Marcia Ardila was awarded the Top Producer Rentals 2024 award and Sales Associate Rosanna Binotto was awarded Top Contributor to the Sales Database 2024. Letting Associate Sabine van Ieperenburg received the 2024 Top Contributor to the Rentals Database and Letting Associate Michaela Tabone was presented with the Exceptional Performance award.

Head of Administration Shirley Herron was given 2024’s Team Impact Award and team members, Letting Associate Lana Buks-Vaivade and Senior Marketing Executive Candice Vinheiras were acknowledged for 5 years of continued service – each receiving a Long Service Award.
