APS Bank has introduced new enhancements to its Malta Development Bank-backed business loans, making financing more accessible for businesses investing in cultural, creative and sustainable initiatives.
Following the signing of addenda with the Malta Development Bank (MDB) on Tuesday, 12 May 2026, APS Bank launched the Culture and Creative Guarantee. The scheme now aims to help organisations operating in eligible cultural and creative sectors access financing more easily to grow, invest and improve their operations.
Alongside this, APS Bank has also introduced a Sustainability Guarantee, supporting businesses investing in operational upgrades and projects aimed at enhancing long-term environmental and social sustainability.

These loans are approved under the Malta Development Bank (MDB) SME Guarantee Scheme – Creative and Cultural (SGS-CC), SME Guarantee Scheme – Sustainability (SGS-S), and Guaranteed Co-Lending Scheme – Sustainability (GCLS-S). They also benefit from support provided by the European Union and the EIF under the InvestEU Fund.
