Eden Leisure Group reports record €56.1 million revenue following landmark year of growth

Eden Leisure Group, one of Malta’s leading hospitality and entertainment groups, has reported a record financial performance for 2025, with revenue and operating income reaching €56.1 million, an increase of 17.3% over the previous year.

Group profit before tax was €9.3 million. On an underlying basis, adjusted EBITDA rose 12% to €14.1 million on 19% revenue growth, and cash generated from operations grew 40% to €18.8 million — comfortably funding the year’s €15.1 million investment programme and lifting year-end cash by 31% to €5.6 million.

The group’s balance sheet strengthened further, with total assets reaching €318.3 million and total equity rising to €197.2 million.

The results were presented during the Group’s Annual Financial Review and reflect a year defined by major project deliveries, strategic expansion and continued investment across hospitality, entertainment and lifestyle operations.

A key milestone for the year was the opening of voco Malta in April 2025. The upscale lifestyle hotel marked the completion of Eden Leisure Group’s landmark mixed-use development and quickly established itself within Malta’s hospitality sector.

The Group’s hospitality portfolio continued to perform strongly overall, generating €39.8 million in revenue.

Another significant addition to the Group’s portfolio was Lumi, a Californian-Mediterranean restaurant concept which opened during 2025.

The venue has rapidly established itself as a destination for dining, events and social experiences, contributing to the continued growth and vibrancy of the St Julian’s district.

Commenting on the results, Chairman Ian De Cesare described 2025 as a year of delivery and achievement for the organisation.

“2025 was a year of delivery. We completed our mixed-use development, opened voco Malta and launched Lumi, intentionally curating a portfolio of brands that uplift the area and build long-term value.”

Beyond commercial growth, Eden Leisure Group continued to invest in projects that contribute to Malta’s social, environmental and cultural landscape through the Eden Leisure Foundation.

During the year, the Foundation supported environmental initiatives at BirdLife Malta’s Is-Simar Nature Reserve, collaborated with Heritage Malta on the restoration of the Grand Master’s Carriage, and celebrated the completion of the historic Guthrie Bridge restoration project at Fort Rinella.

With another record year forecast for 2026, Eden Leisure Group remains focused on sustainable growth, innovation and long-term value creation while strengthening its position as one of Malta’s leading hospitality and entertainment operators.
