The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) Malta Desk hosted eight top-tier Italian start-ups at the EU-Startups Summit, held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta on May 7 and 8.
The participating start-ups, specialising in strategic sectors including deep tech, fintech, climate tech and healthtech, formed part of the ‘Italian Innovation Corner’.
The pavilion was officially inaugurated by Valentina Setta, Ambassador of Italy to Malta, Santo Purello, deputy Ambassador of Italy to Malta, Fabrizio Camastra, director of ITA Athens/Malta Office, and Gianluca Rossetto, head of the ITA Malta Desk, alongside Foreign Affairs Minister Ian Borg and Economy Minister Silvio Schembri.
