The Malta Financial Services Authority has warned about an entity which is fraudulently using the details of a licensed company.
Auto Capital Buzz, also known as Auto Bit Buzz, is using the details of an MFSA licensed company Alchemy Markets Ltd.
“Fraudsters are using the details and website contents of this genuine company in an effort to deceive the public,” the MFSA said on Friday.
The authority warned Auto Capital Buzz is not a Maltese registered company nor is it authorised to provide any financial services in or from Malta.
Moreover, the entity has no association with Alchemy Markets Ltd.
The website autocapitalbuzz.com appears to be a “clone” of the website of the legitimate entity, the MFSA added.
“The public should therefore refrain from entering into any transactions or otherwise dealing with the false entity.”
