9H co-founders step into Tayb leadership as joint venture accelerates in Riyadh

One of Malta’s most innovative consultancy’s, 9H, has doubled down on its joint venture TAYB, in Saudi Arabia. During an exclusive dinner in Riyadh on September 17, the company announced a sharpened tech focus and a new leadership lineup, with 9H co-founders now fully embedded at the helm.

The move signals a bold step forward for Tayb, in full stride with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s drive to lead in digital transformation.

Zak Borg has taken on the role of director, charged with driving growth, rolling out new products, and embedding operational execution at scale. Alongside him, Matthew Sammut assumes the position of Chief Global Partnerships Officer, tasked with leading cross-border collaborations and building strategic alliances that will expand Tayb’s impact across the region and onto the global stage.

“This is Malta on the global stage,” said Zak “Through Tayb, we’re proving that Maltese creativity and innovation can play in the biggest arenas, shaping how technology and storytelling come together to power transformation.”

The Riyadh dinner brought together Saudi Arabia’s business and creative community, spotlighting Tayb’s role as a cultural and commercial bridge between Malta and the Kingdom.
