Eden Leisure Foundation and RISE Foundation join forces to raise awareness on delinquency

The Eden Leisure Foundation (ELF) has donated €2,000 to RISE Foundation to support the development and delivery of educational workshops focused on delinquency prevention and awareness.

The initiative forms part of the Foundation’s continued commitment to community and social advancement, to support projects that educate, empower, and create meaningful impact within Maltese society.

Through this collaboration, RISE Foundation will design and deliver two structured educational courses to the general public during 2026 at the RISE Education Hub in Tarxien.

The workshops, each consisting of 10 sessions, will focus on delinquency and the social challenges surrounding it, helping participants better understand the behavioural, environmental, and emotional factors that can contribute to youth delinquency and antisocial behaviour.

“Delinquency can often be linked to issues such as social exclusion, family difficulties, substance abuse, and mental health struggles, particularly among young people. Through education and open discussion, this programme will encourage prevention, awareness, and early intervention,” said Kate De Cesare, Chairperson, Eden Leisure Foundation

In addition to financial support, the Eden Leisure Foundation will also assist the initiative by providing advertising and awareness promotion to help the workshops reach a wider audience.

Through partnerships such as this, the Eden Leisure Foundation continues to support organisations working towards stronger communities through education, outreach, and social support initiatives.
