CareMalta Group supports symposium on digital health innovation

CareMalta Group has supported a symposium titled ‘Digital Health in Action: Moving from Vision to Action’, organised by the Faculty of ICT at the University of Malta.

The symposium brought together policymakers, healthcare professionals, researchers, students and industry leaders to discuss how digital health strategies can be transformed into practical and impactful solutions for healthcare systems.

This initiative forms part of CareMalta Group’s ongoing commitment towards strengthening collaboration in the areas of artificial intelligence, robotics and digital health.

In November 2025, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between CareMalta Group and the Department of Computer Information Systems within the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the University of Malta, with the aim of collaborating on innovation in the future of healthcare.

The agreement reflects a shared vision to use technology to shape the future of care, placing both institutions at the forefront of digital transformation within Malta’s health and social sectors. Through this symposium, this collaboration also highlighted the practical steps needed to implement digital health strategies, accelerate innovation and strengthen cooperation between healthcare institutions, academia and industry.
