Pierre-Etienne Cizeron, Epic’s CEO, received the awards on behalf of the company
Epic has once again taken Malta to the global telecom stage, participating in Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, where the company was recognised during the Ookla Speedtest Awards trophy ceremony.
This marks the third consecutive time Epic has been recognised by Ookla, confirming the company’s position as Malta’s fastest and best mobile network, based on independent analysis of hundreds of thousands of consumer-initiated tests conducted through Speedtest by Ookla.
Mobile World Congress is the telecom industry’s largest global gathering, bringing together leading operators, technology companies and innovators. This year, Epic stood among them as the only Maltese telecom provider present at the award ceremony.

“This award is proof that we are not just keeping pace, but setting the standard for mobile network performance, delivering the speed, reliability and experience our customers expect every day,” Pierre-Etienne Cizeron, Epic’s CEO who was there to receive the award on behalf of the company, said.
Epic’s presence at MWC also provided an opportunity to engage with international industry leaders and explore the next generation of connectivity technologies shaping the future of mobile networks.
