Orion in joint venture with Corinthia for acquisition of Corinthia Hotel Lisbon

International Hotel Investments plc (IHI) and Orion Capital Managers have entered into a joint venture to acquire the Corinthia Hotel Lisbon, one of the Portuguese capital’s landmark five-star properties.

The agreement will see Orion’s European Real Estate Fund VI acquiring a 72% stake, while IHI will retain 28% and continue to operate the hotel through its subsidiary, Corinthia Hotels Limited.

The acquisition will mark the first deployment of capital from Orion’s fund, which is targeting a €1.5 billion final close. IHI, which currently owns the hotel outright, said the partnership would unlock capital to support its global growth objectives while maintaining operational continuity and brand standards.

Completion of the transaction is subject to customary conditions, including financing and transfer approvals, with closing anticipated in the first half of 2026.
