Ganado Advocates announces 2026 promotions to key leadership positions

Ganado Advocates has appointed Clement Mifsud Bonnici and Philip Mifsud as new partners of the law firm and Nadia Cassar as a new of counsel. Their appointments were effective from January 1.

These promotions reflect their considerable experience and expertise, as well as the law firm’s appreciation of their valuable contributions.

They have each advanced professionally by cultivating substantial knowledge in their respective fields, consistently prioritising client needs, collaborating effectively with colleagues and maintaining high aspirations, the firm said.

“They have all played an important role in the firm’s development”

Mifsud-Bonnici regularly leads complex, high-stakes litigation involving government contracts, competition law and shareholder litigation. Mifsud advises on M&A transactions, corporate governance and restructurings, IP & regulatory tech matters, as well as foreign direct investment issues. Cassar forms part of the insurance team and advises on legal and regulatory aspects to this field including M&A transactions, restructurings and ILS.

Commenting on these promotions, the firm’s managing partner, Matthew Bianchi, said:

“The new appointments reflect their notable accomplishments and the law firm’s sustained commitment to fostering leadership development. They reflect our firm’s ongoing commitment to recognising merit, dedication and professionalism.

“Philip, Clement and Nadia have all played an important role in the firm’s development and have consistently demonstrated the values that underpin our culture as a leading law firm. We are confident they will continue to make a significant contribution to the firm and to our clients.”
