EuroBridge has continued to strengthen its commitment to employee development with a specialised training session for middle and senior management, delivered by entrepreneur, author, and leadership mentor Ivan Bartolo.
The session centred on Bartolo’s acclaimed book The Mirror Never Lies, which explores the principles of self-awareness, accountability, and personal leadership.
Bartolo was introduced by EuroBridge, managing director David Abela, who emphasised the company’s dedication to holistic employee growth.
“This training session forms part of our commitment to keep our employees abreast not just with logistics-specific training, but also personal development. Our people are our greatest asset and empowering them with the right mindset is essential to our long-term success,” Abela said.
Opening his presentation, Bartolo remarked that “growth does not happen by accident, but by consciously choosing to challenge ourselves, reflection, and improve ourselves every day. Always remember the best is ahead of you.”
From there, he guided the participants through the human compass exercise, an interactive exercise designed to help individuals reflect on how each person naturally shows up in everyday work environment situations, especially during moments of change, pressure and challenges.
Bartolo highlighted key themes from his book, including the importance of self-reflection, the role of emotional intelligence in effective leadership, and the need to take full ownership of both personal and professional outcomes.
He encouraged the participants to “look in the mirror” and identify behaviours, attitudes, and habits that either support or hinder their development.
Bartolo also shared practical tools for improving team communication, building accountability cultures, and aligning individual purpose with organisational goals.
Abela noted that these insights are especially relevant for EuroBridge as it continues to grow and evolve.
“Our industry is fast paced. Strong leadership, and personal accountability enable us to adapt and stay ahead,” he said. “This session gave our senior personnel a fresh framework for thinking about their roles as leaders within the company.”
Participants described the session as engaging, thought-provoking, and highly relevant to their daily responsibilities.
Many highlighted Bartolo’s practical approach to leadership and his ability to connect personal development principles with real workplace scenarios.
EuroBridge will continue to invest in leadership and personal development training as part of its broader commitment to building a motivated, skilled, and future-ready workforce.
