Atlas Insurance sponsors Digital Marketing Innovation Award at JA Malta Awards

Atlas Insurance sponsored the Digital Marketing Innovation Award at this year’s Junior Achievement (JA) Malta Finals and Awards Night, recognising young entrepreneurs who demonstrated outstanding creativity, communication and strategic thinking in promoting their business initiatives online.

This year’s award was presented to Klaritá, a company made up of students from St Aloysius College and Junior College, for their Dr Sunshine Comfort Kits initiative that are designed to provide emotional and mental support to children in hospitals.

The team distinguished itself through a well-executed and authentic digital marketing strategy, combining active social media engagement with strong storytelling and cohesive branding to build a credible and engaging online presence. Their approach also reflected a clear understanding of their audience, making effective use of emotionally driven communication, media exposure, partnerships and outreach initiatives to strengthen visibility and engagement throughout the year.

Matthew von Brockdorff, managing director and CEO of Atlas Insurance, who also presented the award to the winners, said: that initiatives such as JA Malta’s company programme provide students with “valuable opportunities to apply creativity, teamwork and strategic thinking in practical ways, while also developing skills that are increasingly relevant in today’s evolving workplace”.

“The quality of projects and level of engagement demonstrated throughout this year’s edition were particularly impressive. It is also very encouraging to see the significant increase in participation from schools over recent years, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and the importance being placed on nurturing entrepreneurial skills among young people,” he said.

A longstanding partner of JA Malta and its company programme since 2013, Atlas Insurance has consistently supported programmes that help students develop entrepreneurial thinking, workplace readiness and financial literacy.

As part of the programme, representatives from Atlas Insurance also deliver sessions focused on market research and digital marketing, providing students with real-world insight and experience.
