MAPFRE Malta has been recognised in 2025 as the top‑ranked country within the Challenger Countries category of the MAPFRE Group, a group comprising 17 countries.

This achievement positions Malta as a leading reference within the Group thanks to its outstanding overall performance.

The ranking is based on a comprehensive set of key performance indicators covering growth, profitability, efficiency, productivity and operational discipline, reflecting the solid progress and consistency of the results delivered by MAPFRE Malta in recent years.

This milestone represents a significant internal recognition within the MAPFRE Group, highlighting the strong commitment, professionalism and dedication of the local teams, as well as the successful execution of a strategy focused on sustainable growth and long‑term value creation.

Mapfre Malta was represented by Chairmen Martin Galea and Gordon Cordina, together with CEOs Etienne Sciberras and Elvira Lopez de Lara Merida, who had the pleasure and honour to received the trophy and recognition from MAPFRE Group Chairman Antonio Huertas.
