Seasonally adjusted industrial turnover down 2.1% in Q3 2025

During the third quarter of 2025, seasonally adjusted industrial turnover dropped by 2.1 percent when compared to the previous quarter. The highest decrease was recorded in consumer goods (4.2 percent), followed by a decline in capital goods (2.5 percent).

On the other hand, increases were registered in intermediate goods (4.9 percent) and energy (1.3 percent).

When compared to the second quarter of 2025, the overall seasonally adjusted industrial employment did not change. However, industrial hours worked and industrial gross wages and salaries decreased by 2.8 per cent and 0.8 per cent, respectively.

When compared to the corresponding quarter of 2024, working-day adjusted industrial turnover increased by 1.5 percent. Increases were registered in intermediate goods (5.1 percent), energy (4.4 percent) and capital goods (4.0 percent). On the contrary, consumer goods went down by 4.0 percent.

An increase of 0.6 percent was recorded in the year-on-year unadjusted industrial employment. No change was registered in the overall working-day adjusted industrial hours worked. However, industrial gross wages and salaries went up by 4.6 percent.
