Money meets vision: FPEI celebrates its 10-year anniversary at upcoming event

FPEI marks its 10th anniversary with a dynamic financial literacy and business growth event designed to empower Malta’s entrepreneurs with the knowledge and networks to scale.

The next event from the Foundation for the Promotion of Entrepreneurial Initiatives (FPEI) will provide local entrepreneurs with the financial and business knowledge they need to grow their enterprise.

Money Meets Vision: The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Business Growth will take place on Thursday, June 5, at Salini Resort, bringing together financial experts, legal advisors and business support professionals for a half-day of knowledge-sharing, live Q&As and networking.

The flagship event – supported by APS Bank and Creditinfo Malta – will explore the financial foundations every business needs, demystifying key topics such as tax compliance, bookkeeping and strategic financial planning.

Following an introduction by FPEI Manager, Giselle Borg Olivier, and an address from a keynote speaker, the first panel discussion, Money Matters: From Basics to Bookkeepers, is tailored for entrepreneurs who want to transform financial management from a source of stress into a strategic advantage. This panel also includes dedicated Q&A time with panellists Shawn Galea from Taxentra Limited, Kris Bartolo of Zampa Partners and a representative from APS Bank.

A second panel, Tax Compliance and Efficiency Unpacked, features FPEI Board Member and former Director at Deloitte Malta, Raphael Aloisio, and Gresham Joseph Duca from Business First, offering valuable insights into financial planning, compliance requirements and business structure decisions, as well as a Q&A.

Money Meets Vision: The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Business Growth also marks a major milestone for FPEI, as it celebrates its first decade of empowering Malta’s entrepreneurs.

Money Meets Vision: The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Business Growth also marks a major milestone for FPEI, as it celebrates its first decade of empowering Malta’s entrepreneurs. From introducing crowdfunding to Malta with the launch of Zaar – the country’s only reward-based crowdfunding platform – to building entrepreneurial communities through its Future Founders Plus programme, FPEI has helped reshape Malta’s entrepreneurial landscape. Meanwhile, it continually monitors the sector and addresses any key market gaps through niche training courses such as Entrepreneurship for Creatives and Entrepreneurship for People with a Disability.

Following the panel discussions, guests at the event will enjoy a networking lunch and a 10th anniversary celebration, commemorating both the relationships that FPEI has built over the years and the new connections it fosters across Malta’s startup, SME and entrepreneurial sectors.

“FPEI’s mission has always been to support entrepreneurs not just at launch, but through every phase of their growth journey – and, as such, FPEI has laid the groundwork for a stronger, more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem in Malta,” says the newly appointed FPEI Chairperson, Mario Xuereb, who takes the helm at this pivotal time for the organisation. “I’m excited to have been appointed FPEI Chairperson as the Foundation celebrates this important milestone of its 10th anniversary – and I very much look forward to what comes next.”

FPEI’s Money Meets Vision: The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Business Growth event will be held on Thursday, June 5 from 9am-2pm, at Salini Resort, Salina. All-inclusive tickets are priced at €55, with a discounted rate of €30 available for Future Founders Plus members. For more information and to buy tickets, visit www.fpei.mt/money-meets-vision/.
