Eden Leisure Group launches Emerging Leaders Programme to nurture future leaders

The training is designed to support both personal and professional growth.

Eden Leisure Group (ELG) has launched its Emerging Leaders Programme, a two-year leadership development initiative designed to equip prospective leaders with essential skills to grow within the company. The first training session took place on March 25 at Mars, InterContinental, with eight selected staff members participating.

Developing the next generation of leaders

In collaboration with Mdina Partners, ELG has structured the Emerging Leaders Programme into three core modules: Managing Myself, Leading Others, and Creating Organisational Impact. These modules, delivered over three key phases through four sessions each, will be held every six weeks.

The training is designed to support both personal and professional growth, helping employees build confidence in leadership, decision-making, and team management. Through a mix of interactive workshops, real-world case studies, and engaging discussions, participants will gain practical tools and frameworks to navigate challenges, drive team success, and lead with authenticity.

A commitment to employee development

Speaking about the initiative, Carina Scerri, Head of Human Resources at Eden Leisure Group, stated:

“At Eden Leisure Group, we believe that leadership is not just about titles—it’s about growth, vision, and the ability to inspire others. The Emerging Leaders Programme was created to identify and nurture talent within our teams, providing the skills, mentorship, and opportunities needed to shape the future of our organisation. Investing in our people today means building stronger, more capable leaders for tomorrow.”

Upon completion of the programme, participants would have developed key leadership skills, improved their decision-making and problem-solving abilities, and established a strong network with other emerging leaders.

The first session provided an insightful experience, equipping participants with leadership skills that will empower their career progression within Eden Leisure Group. With ELG’s continued investment in employee development, the company is fostering a culture of leadership, innovation, and long-term growth.
