Maltese technology leader Buddy has announced the Payroll Growth Summit, a free, virtual event designed to equip payroll professionals with actionable insights in compliance, technology, and client success. The summit will run in two distinct editions – a comprehensive three-day experience for the UK market from March 4-6, and a dedicated Malta edition on March 7, tailored to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by local payroll experts.
The Payroll Growth Summit brings together top industry experts, thought leaders, and innovators to discuss compliance, technology and bureau success.
For the UK edition, the event spans three days, with each day dedicated to one of the key themes. In addition, interactive Buddy Masterclasses provide practical demonstrations – such as “How to manage compliance changes in minutes” and “Delivering superior client experiences” – underscoring Buddy’s commitment to operational excellence.
Recognising the local market’s dynamism, the Malta edition on March 7 is specifically curated for Maltese payroll professionals. The agenda kicks off at 10 am with a keynote session on “What is the true value a good payroller brings to an organisation?” delivered by Linda Burt from Remote, followed by deep dives into workplace pensions, compliance essentials and defining payroll ownership.
The Malta Summit also includes an interactive Masterclass, where experts – including Buddy Co-Founder Jonathan Mifsud – will share strategies for delivering a superior client experience in payroll.
“We created the Payroll Growth Summit because we recognise that payroll professionals are the backbone of every thriving organisation,” said Jonathan Mifsud, Co-Founder of Buddy. “By equipping them with cutting-edge insights and practical tools, we aim to empower these professionals to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry and drive greater business success.”
Uniting a powerhouse of industry expertise, the summit boasts a distinguished network of partners committed to advancing payroll innovation. From Malta, revered organisations such as FHRD, APS, Empleo, Fyoring, and Training Three Sixty contribute their deep local insights, while esteemed UK collaborators including the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP), Sync Savings, JGA Recruitment Group, Penfold, and Telleroo bring forward-thinking strategies and a robust international perspective.
Registration for both the UK and Malta editions of the Payroll Growth Summit is free and available online here (UK) and here (Malta).
